The Rose Gold Edit

The Rose Gold Edit

Hello my fellow Techsperts,

Well I’ve been a tad quiet of late haven’t I?  What with the lead up to Christmas, it has been all systems go and something had to take a backseat.  However, since transforming our house into the most beautiful of Christmas Grotto’s, it has really gotten me into the Christmas spirit and thinking of a new way to present my blog to you all.

Yes…this one will be less “fluffy & wordy,” with more of a visual inspiration that may help some of you choose some great tech gifts over the Christmas period.  So without further ado, I present to you…

From left to right:

  • MKT5046 : Michael Kors Access Runway

You’re all aware I am a massive fan of the Michael Kors Smartwatches owning the Silver version of this stunning timepiece.  I am loving all the new developments including NFC payments and heart rate.  This is also available in Rose Gold with a Pink Silicone Strap, for the ultimate tech loving, fashionista.

  • FTW6016 : Fossil Venture HR Smartwatch

Yes, another one from Fossil Groups large range of smartwatches.  The colour combo on this watch is divine and the silicone strap really plays into the fitness trend that is sweeping the UK.  One I would certainly wear in the gym or the pool.  Yes you got it, this is swimproof too.

  • SKT5103 : Skagen Falster 2

From the minimalistic Danish brand Skagen, this iconic magnetic mesh (yes, no more buckles) is something that I see being very unisex.  I love the look and feel coming through from this brand.  With the same features you see across all Fossil Group brands, including rapid charging, this would be the perfect under the tree present.

… Even if it is for yourself.

  • Google Home

(with interchangeable “copper” base)

Many of you will know that I am Android systems through and through.  From my Huawei phone to my smartwatch and right the way through to my home help.  Yes, that well know brand called Google.  Since we got our Google Home Mini over a year ago, there has not been a day that’s gone by where I don’t use it.  Whether it is asking the weather forecast, to playing relaxing classical music to soothe me to sleep.  The latter being great as the collaboration between Google and Spotify has become stronger, it works seamlessly.

Now to add to the collection with the full size speaker to sit downstairs with the plethora of rose gold accessories we have.

My partner loves it…honest!

  • Jabra Elite Active 65t (Copper & Blue)

These true wireless earbuds would be a perfect addition to my handbag.  The colourway is spot on for me.  I’ve always loved the metallic tones against a rich blue hue.   I also love the fact that they are bluetooth enabled meaning I can link them up to other tech I have including my phone or smartwatch.  This allows me to take less out with me when I work out, bit I also avoid all wires (something that is a bugbear of mine).  The freedom to move without the fear of ripping one out by a simple turn of the head.  Bliss.

  • Instax Square SQ6 (Blush Gold)

This was something I was 1st introduced to at “Christmas in July.”  Yes, we started Christmas shopping five or so months ago and like a puff of smoke Christmas is here…crazy!

I am all for the retro tech, and the design of this camera certainly taps into that.  Yes, the quality is not going to be a patch on the DSLR’s of this world, but the instantaneous, perfect moments caught by these type of cameras, can create pictures of memories that money can’t buy.  The vintage look and feel of the pictures is another reason to love this too.  You could even create a present from this present; a book of memories or sorts.

*Hint Hint* – this would be great under our tree!

Well there you have it…

A whistle stop tour of some of the most pretty tech that I have noticed out there (I realise a little wordy).  From years past where everything tech related was one or two colours, the transitions we’re seeing in the market just allow for more consumers to want to buy into them.  I would even go to say that tech is much more female friendly these days (not to stereotype on colourways that women like), but the designs we see are becoming less and less orientated for the masculine customer.

What are you wishing for under your tree this year?  Whatever it maybe…I hope all your wishes come true!

… Until next time my fellow techsperts
